Children’s Afternoon Class with Chef Nathan Dimond
An enjoyable introductory class for your budding chef.
Budding young chefs from aged 6 and upwards will have the opportunity to spend the afternoon in a professional kitchen at The Academy at Cliff at Lyons in Kildare this Easter. Chefs Nathan Dimond and Danielle O’Neill will host a kid’s cooking adventure at the stunning estate in Kildare on Thursday April 20th.
The small group of junior chefs will take to Cliff at Lyons vegetable gardens to understand the strong connection between fresh, natural food and great tasting dishes. After picking some beautiful seasonal produce and herbs, the kids will head into the Cliff at Lyons kitchens for a fun cooking session.
Creative young cooks will learn how to make a host of fantastic dishes from sizzling Sausage Rolls and homemade Ketchup, to gorgeous Beetroot and Honey Tarts with Whipped Mint Yoghurt. For a sweet treat, the group will create a sumptuous Carrot Cake with carrot glaze and a zingy Fruit Lemonade to take home for all the family to enjoy!
The workshop will be fun and inspiring and very simple to follow, a great Easter afternoon spent in a professional kitchen!
