The Canal Café is open to both resident and non-resident diners.
Here, you will find a relaxed, informal style of dining in a warm, cosy space where it is easy to enjoy a snack, coffee or more substantial lunch or early dinner with friends. You will also feel comfortable sitting here alone with a good book as company.
Many of our Canal Café customers walk in from the banks of the Grand Canal, or are on their way to seek out the grave of Arthur Guinness, which is located in the nearby Oughterard cemetery.
The Canal Café looks out onto cobbled courtyard where you can make the most of the summer sun.
This family friendly location, is open from Monday to Sunday for lite bites and lunch from 11.30am – 17:00pm and dinner 17:00pm to 21:00pm.
Reservations are advisable.

Our kitchen operation involves shared cooking and preparation areas. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that any item can be completely free of allergens.
