A hidden gem in the Irish countryside, The Mill Restaurant is a truly unique gastronomical haven.
Chef Sean Smith’s mouth-watering menu changes regularly, and is as always sourced locally, with some ingredients even grown on the very grounds of the Cliff at Lyons Estate in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. Food lovers will enjoy excellent service and classics such as Roast Rib of Beef, Cherry Valley Duck Breast and Oven Baked Baby Turbot with sides of seasonal vegetables, mini Seafood platters and of course for something a bit sweet, Whiskey & Orange Ice Cream or Chocolate Fondant with Salted Caramel Ice Cream.
The Mill Restaurant is the heart of Cliff at Lyons, with huge double-height ceilings, warm open fire which creates a lovely atmosphere, and windows that open up to a terrace beside the mill race and waterfall. Here, you will find a relaxed style of dining where it is easy to enjoy great food with friends or family – perfect for any special occasion. The illuminated waterfall provides a unique back drop to this airy and spacious room.
Opening Hours
- The Mill Lounge Menu is served Wednesday to Friday in The Mezzanine Lounge & Lyon’s Den from 12:00pm-3:00pm
- From Wednesday to Sunday, Dinner is served in The Mill Restaurant from 6:00pm-9.00pm
- On Saturdays & Sundays, Lunch is served in The Mill Restaurant from 12:00pm-3.30pm
