Our Commitment to Sustainability at Cliff at Lyons

At Cliff at Lyons, we take our commitment to sustainable practices seriously, implementing the following measures to ensure a greener future:

– We source food locally whenever possible, with an aim to support and empower small Irish businesses.
– Additionally, The Mill Restaurant utilises fresh, seasonal produce grown on our estate gardens by our culinary gardening team, employing sustainable farming practices.
– In the Well in the Garden Spa, we exclusively use our small-batch The Well at CLIFF products, crafted in Ireland with natural ingredients sourced from native soil and sea. This includes ingredients such as organic peat sourced from the bogs of Co. Laois, and Irish seaweed from the shores of the Atlantic among others. In our spa, all professional product containers are either recycled or reused.
In 2022, The CLIFF Group made a commitment to sustainability. To lower our carbon footprint, we have worked closely with local business Wild Oats to design a luxurious, fully-customised skincare line. These premium products have replaced all single-use plastic bathroom amenities with refillable bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion for you to enjoy at all of our properties.
– Our in-house laundry facility operates with an environmentally conscious approach, reducing transportation emissions.
– We separate our waste into food, recyclable, and general waste.
– In our CLIFF Home retain store on-site, most of our products are sourced from local suppliers. All our packaging is 100% Irish-made, and eco-friendly.
